Start With the Verified Values
Players report that Money Master can remain locked when the displayed Coin value reaches 998 or 999. That symptom is real enough to investigate, but the extracted assets do not prove whether it is intended behavior, a save-state problem, or a client bug.
What the Shipped Configuration Confirms
- 343: the default Coin value in StatsConfig.
- 999: the configured Coin maximum in StatsConfig.
- 1000: targetCoinAmount in CoinConfig.
- 200: MaxMoney in each Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 asset.
- 1, 2, and 5: the three configured coin denominations.
These are A-level facts reproduced from the game assets. They describe limits and inputs, not the hidden unlock implementation.
What Is Still Unknown
No available extracted implementation proves a separate lifetime counter, cross-run carry-over, a required number of playthroughs, or that the 999/1000 mismatch is intentional. Any guide making those claims as settled facts is going beyond the evidence.
Safe Troubleshooting Order
- Record the current Day, displayed Coin value, and whether the last shift completed normally.
- Back up available save data before changing files.
- Quit the game and Steam fully, relaunch, and check the achievement state.
- Use Steam's installed-file verification. Do not delete a save as a first step.
- If the failure repeats, report the exact values and interaction order so the case can be reproduced.
Use the Values as Audit Inputs
Five Bronze, two Silver, and one Gold pickup add 14 Coin. Denomination math can help you compare what the display did before and after a shift. It cannot establish an invisible counter.
For the achievement entry and its evidence labels, open the Money Master page. For other stuck points, use the run diagnosis checklist.
